Marketing is one of the most powerful tools for any business, but especially a small business. It’s also one of the most powerful marketing tools that can be used by any business owner to raise their brand awareness. After all, without exposure to customers, the business likely won’t survive.
With a website, a customer comes to your site and sees your brand in action. Whether they click away or not, they will likely remember your name and come back to visit. It might take a little time for a customer to see your brand, but they will remember it.
A similar thing can be said about any business. In fact, I believe it is the most important marketing channel. Sure, you could market your business in other ways, like on flyers, emails, social media, etc. But the best way to bring people to your website is through your website.
That’s why I’m so excited about how a company like 1-2-1 has risen to be the number one destination for website owners to start a blog. Because it’s one of the easiest ways to create buzz and build authority for your brand.
As I mentioned, I think the best way to get visitors to your site is through your website. It can be done through email, social media, or through a combination of the two. Most people don’t even know they can create a blog. Of course, you could also create a Facebook page or a Twitter account… but that’s not nearly as effective.
I think this is a good example of how to build authority for your website. When you have a blog, people start searching for you because they think that you have a website. Of course, those who actually view your website will probably only be visiting for an hour or two a week but the people who come back and visit your website in the future just by visiting your blog get all of the benefits listed above.
This is a great example of the kind of things that can help build authority. When you have a Twitter account, people will see that you are very active and in need of help. But those who visit your Twitter account are likely to be your friends, or people you visit on a regular basis.
Another easy example of this is a blog post that goes viral. Think about when you were in a class in school and you wrote a blog post that got thousands of visitors. Now it all went viral because people now know about your blog post and are just reading it.
But what if you don’t have a blog or Twitter account? What if you just want to build a good reputation? In this case, the answer is to do the exact opposite of the above example. Write a blog post that people will link to and then tweet how great you are. Think a little bit of what the above example was like when it was just you and a few friends.
It may sound crazy, but having a blog or twitter handle is one of the best tools you can have to build a good online reputation. The fact is that most of your online reputation is based on the trust and trustworthiness of your friends and family. When you have a blog or twitter handle, there is nothing to worry about. You can write great articles and posts that people will link to and retweet.
