Some may say that this is because our lives are becoming more exciting and personal due to technology, but I believe that our society is just more interested in learning about the stories of others — we feel we’ve lost touch with what could have otherwise been a very familiar part of our own stories. But why do we read biographies? In my opinion, even though autobiographies can be revealing, they lack the insight that biographical writings provide.
