Ghost blogging software is free to download and use

Ghost blogging software allows you to create a completely separate blog with a different name from your own 

from the same location as your main blog. People don’t know it’s coming, they can’t find it, and 

you can keep all of your existing posts live with no disruption. You can use it as a ghost blog or analytics blog or any other kind of blog that you want.

There is a free version and a paid version. The free version has basic hosting provided by another company 

and plenty of space, but only allows writing 1 post at a time (not counting pages). 

The business class version includes Google Analytics tracking and has unlimited posts, backup tools and lots more.

It’s free to download and use, but if you want the business version with all of the above features, 

it will cost you $29 through their software download page.

They have an extensive setup guide that gets you started with customizing your blog setup by modifying source 

code on your own web host. I’ve never done this before so I am not sure how hard it is to do, 

but they have some video tutorials showing how easy it is to do it once you are set up.

There are a number of companies out there that are willing to host ghost blogs for you. 

I have personally used Siteground and I would use them again any time. Their customer service is always very helpful and

 they have a live chat feature so you can have a real person help you when you have a question. 

However, I wanted to show you that it is possible to host ghost blogs on my own WordPress installation. 

It’s not hard and it’s pretty simple. You can do this on a shared hosting account as well, 

but it may be a little more difficult if you are working with a beginner WordPress user.

First I want to show you how easy the process is once you have purchased the software from Ghost.org 

and installed it on your server.The only downside is that they don’t allow unlimited posts, 

so you can’t fake up a new blog in the background and not be detected by your search engine results.

The best way to get ghost blogging software for free is to host it yourself using a web hosting service that allows WordPress sites, 

such as Bluehost or WPEngine. Space requirements are 972MB of PHP Space, which is very little for most blogs. 

These hosts allow you to create a WordPress site with your choice of blogging software.

If you want a more professional looking blog, I would suggest going with a professionally managed hosting

 service such as SiteGround or WPEngine. They have unlimited posts and easy workflows so you don’t have to fiddle around with anything.

You can go through the set up process on their site, which is very easy and only takes about 5 minutes. 

But what you will probably want is some of the advanced features of GhostBlogging software for $29 that I mentioned above.

 If so, then log into your account on their website and click on “Addons” in the top right corner of the screen.

It will pop up into a new window with all of the available addons for you to install. It’s pretty self-explanatory, 

so just click on the one that looks like the most appealing to you and it will allow you to put in your credit card information if you want them to send you a license link.

Once you have purchased your software, it will give you an email with a download link. Once installed,

 go back to your web host’s account page and start using GhostBlogging Software for free! ghost (blogging platform)
