You can’t be a leader if you believe that people are going to follow you. I don’t think that’s true of our company, but that’s the way we choose to be. I think the best way to describe alpha marketing would be this: We want our customers to be the ones doing the promotion, not us. We want to be able to get more people into our website, but we don’t want to be the ones getting all the credit. We can do that, but we want to be the ones who do the promotion.

The trailer is full of cool stuff, but we also wanted to let people know that Deathloop isn’t an easy game for people who don’t have a lot of muscle.
Alpha marketing is the name given to the demo of the game that we put out. For the most part (I mean, we didnt put out a full game) the demo is just like the game, but we’re talking about the demo. We wanted to show people that we’re not just the guys that put out the trailer for Deathloop, we’re also the people who make the game.
