Thats one hell of a salary, but it is still a bit of a stretch. It doesnt take into account how much my wife pays me, and it doesnt take into account that my wife works as my full time employee.
This is not an unreasonable number. It is not unreasonable to earn 2,000 more than that, for starters. But it is not unreasonable to receive a salary of 60,000 per year. This is what most of your peers will earn in their respective careers, and most of your peers will earn more than you will. It is not unreasonable to earn a lot more than that, but it is not unreasonable to earn 60,000 per year.
This is one of those things that you can’t really judge by looking at your salary. Salary and salary alone are not a good indicator of your worth as a person. You should consider more factors. You should consider your ability to make a living, your ability to pay back your loans, your ability to pay back your credit cards, your ability to maintain a healthy lifestyle, your ability to enjoy your job, and your ability to learn new skills.
If you are a writer, you are paid to write, on the other hand, if you are a salesman, you are paid to sell, so it is a good idea to take a look at your other skills. Of course it is also important to consider how you are able to earn a living.
