We all know media marketing is an important part of a good marketing strategy.
At least that’s what a lot of people think, so we decided to dig into this topic ourselves, and we discovered that “media marketing” could actually be defined as a wide variety of things.
Media marketing is the act of selling goods or services to people via media. Media is, in essence, what we call the “print” side of the media business model, and marketing is the act of keeping people interested in our brand by promoting it.
Now with that in mind, there are a variety of things that you can do to ensure that your marketing is effective. Some of these include; creating an attractive website, creating a compelling digital or video ad, and using social media strategies.
That’s a very good point. We could add to that, but we want to start with how you can use marketing to get your business noticed. You can use marketing to build awareness, but you need to be able to use all of it to get the results you want. You can use marketing to get more people to your website, but you need to be able to use it to get them to check out your site and get interested in what you have to offer.
I’ve had some pretty good luck using marketing to get my website to the top of the search results. I’ve also had good luck with social media. I’ve had some good luck with both, but you need to be very careful with each of these.
Some of these marketing strategies are more about gaining traffic, while others are more about gaining more people to an existing social media page or gaining brand awareness. So while it can be very tempting to try and drive traffic to a website, it can also be a very bad idea. One of the best examples of this was when I ran an ad for a website I own on the local TV station.
Unfortunately for my site, the ad was placed by some ad agency who didnt think it was a good idea for the local TV station to put their ads on. The local TV station had no idea they were doing this, and when they did they did a complete 180 on the ad and killed it instantly. Why? Because they didn’t have money for a retainer. You do not hire someone to do your ad if you do not have the money to pay them.
The ad was done by an ad agency who told us they didnt have any money. The TV station had no idea they were doing it either. What they did do was take down the ad instantly after it was placed to protect themselves form liability issues. It’s a good thing the TV station didnt have any money because this would have been a good reason to fire them.
The ad agency took this as a sign that they were a bad agency. This agency was the same one who handled our ad for Google and was told by Google to not have any money. So when we submitted our ad for them to be run over the phone, they told us they were a bad ad agency. This was a good thing as it showed Google we were a good agency.
