This is my third time in the sport marketing quarterly. It’s always a great pleasure to do this because I always learn so much and see so many things that I may not have otherwise. I’ve learned how to set up an online presence, how to market online, how to set up a blog, how to create a Facebook page, how to market on a pay-per-click site, how to do email marketing, and how to market on Facebook.
It is a great pleasure to do this quarterly because I learn so much and see so many things that I may not have otherwise. Ive learned a lot about marketing and blogging from my very first month as a part of the online marketing team. One of the first things I noticed was how often we needed to send out our newsletters. It is so often that we have to remind subscribers that they are probably reading our blog and newsletter. I love the idea of blogging as a service, and I think this is the best way to show your products in a clear and engaging way.
A popular blog recently called the Daily Mail called us out for sending out our newsletters as a form of spam. We do, in fact, send them in an effort to make our blog as useful as possible to our subscribers. I personally think it’s a great way to get your readers to keep reading your blog and our newsletter on a regular basis.
I personally think it’s awesome that we’re able to get our newsletter out in a form that is easy to read and find helpful. If you’re not familiar with the term, we use it to help market our blog and our newsletter. In our newsletter we call it “branding”. I know it’s a cheesy, but it is something I personally feel is important to show off to my readers.
I also think its a great way to get readers to subscribe to our blog. My point is that I think many people are interested in our website but don’t know where to find the best places to send their newsletters. You can do this by including a link in your blogroll, your email signature, or on the website itself.
I think this is an amazing idea. At least we now have a reason for the blog’s readers to subscribe to our newsletter. That’s a huge help when you’re trying to get subscribers to your website or blog.
Well that and if you use the exact same email address as our website, we should be able to send you our newsletter. For example, if you have a blog and send us an email we can send you the newsletter as well. In fact, we’re working on that right now.
I think the only disadvantage is that there is no way to know who your readers are. But I think it might be the single best thing that has ever happened to sport marketing.
I don’t know about you, but I think this is one of the best things that’s ever happened to sport marketing. We use the exact same email address that we use to get our newsletter (which can be found right here on our site at: www.sportmarketing.org).
