1) Tory Johnson: “I woke up like this” – Tory Johnson has an airtight morning routine that she recommends using as a blueprint for how we should head into the day, every single day. Her “good morning moment” is the key to her productivity and mindset for the day.

2) Jen Widerstrom: “Own It” – Jen Widerstrom, trainer on The Biggest Loser, has a prime suggestion for how to go into a workout feeling positive, confident and ready to crush it. Her advice is to simply “own it.” If you have a great workout, hang on to that feeling by reliving why you felt so awesome when you were done and keep using this technique before every workout from now on.

3) Jillian Michaels: “Just Don’t Quit” – The Biggest Loser trainer, fitness guru and mom-to-be, Jillian Michaels, has an amazing mantra for when you’re struggling to stick with your goals. Her words of wisdom is “just don’t quit.” When we feel like we’re on the right track but not exactly where we’d like to be yet, it’s easy to start thinking about all the reasons why we’re not there yet. This thought process can spiral very quickly. Instead of doing this practice what Michaels suggests is saying “I’m totally where I need to be” and honestly believing that it’s true.

4) Sallie Krawcheck: “Who Can I Help Today?” – Sallie Krawcheck, CEO of Ellevest, says that not only does she bank on herself to be great at her job every day but she also expects herself to be a blessing to others. Her challenge for every person is “Who can I help today?” Her approach isn’t about finding opportunities but rather turning those opportunities into actual things she can do in her life and for the people around her.

5) Melissa Hartwig: “Find Something That You Love” – Melissa Hartwig is the creator of Whole30 and known for her success with weight loss. Her suggestion for speeding up the result of your fitness resolutions is to “find something that you love rather than focus on what you don’t like.” This is a great perspective to take when tackling goals. Hartwig suggests thinking about the reasons why you want to accomplish them rather than focusing on all the work or effort that it’s going to take.

6) Ben Greenfield: “Do Hard, Scary Things” – Ben Greenfield, owner of Kion and best selling author of “Beyond Training” and dozens more titles, encourages everyone to push themselves even when they feel like it’s impossible. He recommends that we do hard, scary things because taking risks is a defining part of life. By taking risks, we can gain confidence. If you accomplish the scary thing that you never thought you could do, then the easier stuff will be even easier.

7) Elizabeth Warren: “You Were Born To Do This” – Senator Elizabeth Warren has a message for anyone who is daunted by their own abilities or anything they’d like to accomplish. Her advice is “you were born to do this.” She goes on to say that it doesn’t matter what your dreams or goals are, we all have them and she insists that while success isn’t easy and takes work – it’s worth every ounce of effort put into achieving it.

8) Simon Sinek: “Start Today” – This TED speaker and author of Start With Why is an advocate for making a goal and not waiting until tomorrow or the next day. He urges everyone to think about what they want and do something to move toward those goals. The idea behind starting today is that you can’t start doing something when your idea for how to get started hasn’t fully been formed.

9) Danielle LaPorte: “Bark Like A Dog” – Danielle LaPorte, best selling author of The Desire Map, has one of the most unique success strategies we’ve heard. This strategy boils down to “bark like a dog.” Dogs are often very focused on what they want from something. They don’t bark “I want food” or “I want to go outside” they just bark because they want to go outside.

10) Nicky Gumbel: “Talk Is Cheap” – Nicky Gumbel, the UK and European based coach of Surf Sweat & Stilettos who also specializes in women’s fitness and health, is an advocate of getting off the couch and taking action. She recommends that the fastest way to do this is by just talking with as many people as you can about anything that you’ve been going through or feel you could benefit from their advice on how to handle it.
