The Four Pillars are the main components to look for when reviewing a learning program.

Marker of Successful Learning Programs: According to the Center for Media Design’s Technology Assessment Research. Successful learning program goals are associated with:

Alignment with district goals, effective use of technology in instruction and assessment. Educational improvement through change in attitude of teachers.

As a whole toward using technology. As well as students’ abilities to use online learning programs. Addorrar has some more pillars of successful learning programs.

The Four Pillars of Successful Learning Programs:

1. The curriculum should be learner-centered

If you’re looking for an easy way to make education more interesting, consider learner-centered curriculums. A learner-centered curriculum is exactly what it sounds like: the student is in control of the learning process.

The learner might learn about a topic he or she wants to know about. And this information can be accessed anytime, anywhere. Not only does this make education more engaging for students. But it also offers a platform for teachers to offer individualized instruction. That’s based on each person’s interests and their current knowledge level.

Although we can’t stop the stream of information that comes into our homes, schools. And everywhere else, we can choose what type of information to put in front of children. Learner-centered curriculums provide a way to do that by offering a flexible system that can adapt to any learning level.

Teachers using learner-centered curriculums find that students are more successful at learning because their interests are being addressed.

2. Engagement is necessary for learning, students should have a sense of mastery

You might think that students work better on their own, without any distractions or unsolicited advice from their teachers. But engagement plays a major role in learning and it’s more effective for students to have a sense of mastery.

In his book “The Power of Habit,” Charles Duhigg describes the importance of “keystone habits.”. These are habits that have a wide-ranging impact on other behaviors (Duhigg, 2012). Keystone habits can also be called “strategies” or “systems”.

For example, watching TV is an easy way to relax after a long day at work. But it’s also very addictive and not healthy for your mental state. If you take a walk after dinner instead of watching TV, you will feel better and be less stressed.

A powerful keystone habit is reading. When students read regularly they are more eager to learn new material (Milton, 2015). Reading is also a core skill for many college courses, and it improves students’ vocabulary and writing ability.

Keystones also extend beyond the classroom. Reading for pleasure stimulates creativity in students which positively impacts their performance in other areas. Such as their jobs and hobbies (Duke, 2010).

3. Individualized attention is necessary for effective learning programs to be successful

It is not enough to have information and resources just waiting for teachers to implement them. Research shows that individualized attention is necessary for effective learning programs to be successful.

With so many learning resources available, though. It can be difficult for teachers to know where they can find quality materials that will benefit their students. To help provide guidance in this area, we have compiled a list of websites and apps. With quality educational content suitable for use in the classroom or at home.

The following guides have been identified as helpful resources for learning with technology, but are not limited to just their respective media.

Assessments: Although subject specific resources for assessments can be found in the “Related Content” section of each article, we have included an assessment resource list below for easy access.

Ages: The following age groups have been identified as having special educational needs in which a wide range of learning media might be most effective: Early Learners, Preschoolers, Middle Schoolers, High Schoolers, Adults and Elders. As mentioned above in the “Related Content” section of each article, these guides also provide information on assessment criteria specific to these age groups.

4. Technology is through effective use and critical to success

Technology is a key component to success for a number of reasons. It allows people access to information, helps them communicate, and gives them the ability to create with ease. But technology is only as powerful as those who use it well and effectively.

Technology can help you in many different aspects of your life and career, but it will never be able to replace the need for hard work. Success in anything takes time, effort, focus and dedication.

There are a number of different aspects in which technology has made life easier, but one of the most important is communication. With social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter it is easy to connect with people all over the world. Unfortunately, it is also relatively easy to spread misinformation and half truths.

The easiest way to get your message across effectively is with a well-written blog about your company or organization’s latest products and services. Other methods for effective communication include participating in a forum or news group that relates to your field of interest, creating an informational website, or using technology like Skype to talk with people in real time.
